  1. Hi whythedevilnot, if your still around, did you get the torque setting for the swingarm? I have a YBR 125 2007 and all I can find is this; http://www.gnuen.dk/binary/YBR125servicemanual.pdf On page 4-65 and page 4-70 it has the 'pivot shaft nut' at 59Nm, but on page 5-5 'rear mounting bolt/nut' it has it at 38Nm. I'm confused so it would be great if you could let me know, Thank's Paul.
  2. I much prefer the black. I don't like the Silver or Red with the Black tank panel, looks freakin' weird. Whichever colour you go for, it'll be a great wee bike anyhow. Mine is a 2007 in Red, and I'm a bit Green...... (with envy). Good luck!
  3. I have a black XJ6N which I am tarting up with red and black accessories, exspensive stuff and it will take time. I agree with Noise, the mirrors are what he said. Have a look at the Rizoma gear, I'll be putting the 'Circuit 744' mirrors (Black) on mine, (when i can splash out £200). Already have the Rizoma engine guards (Black), going to get above mirrors (Black), 'Lux handgrips', 'Pro pegs', and 'Avio 21 winkies' all Red. Also seen a Red chain......where do you stop? Good luck with it whatever you do.

Hi Kearnsey, Weather in Belfast tomorrow looking good, i was going to suggest you get yer wet gear on for coming up! So, hopefully you'll have a good, dry and most of all ...a safe journey. BTW, do the roads in Bonnie tear up the tyres, i heard they're good roads but eat your tyres to bits. Have a good one, Slainte!

I' ve used it, don't know if it really did anything, but got piece of mind thinking it would clean injectors ( no carb on my YBR). If you do use it, be careful with the amount you use, apparently it can cause damage. I think something like this stuff is added to fuel anyways.
  6. Hi to you too. Not so long ago, I too was in your position, a new biker on a yam 125. Now I'm a full licence holder with an XJ6N, and I still have the 125. When you get to the same point, you'll enjoy it even more. Meantime, keep yourself safe and find what you need to know, there's tons of info to help you thru your test's and stuff.

I think these are awesome Anyone know if they are UK legal?
  9. One other thing. Does anyone think the pressure reading would be affected by going thru tyre valve and adaptor?

  16. Thank's DirtyDT, I'm trying to avoid the cost you mentioned and I won't need tyres replace for some time. The advantage was for angled valves, front wheel valve awkward to get at. Cheer's.

Glad you're O.K. I was thinking of removing my rear pegs.......thinking harder now. Maybe you should have called the law as he may not have been road legal, i.e. no insurance, tax or licence.
  20. Thank's Airhead but I mean to replace the whole valve with metal one's.
  21. Anyone know if tubeless tyre valves can be replaced without removing the tyre? Front tire Size: 120/70 Rear tire Size: 160/60

Well, for anyone interested I removed the case and....WOW! I have some photo's but don't know how to post them. When undoing the case some oil was leaking so I drained engine. There's quite a strong magnetic hold as inside the cover is 18 copper coils. I put it back together again because I did'nt have the tool to unscrew it from the case. When I get that tool it should be 'job done'.
