Bought this xs 2 weeks ago for About £250 with new tyres,She was rattling her nuts off (tappets) when i rode her home.
No front brake ,it was working but no bite on the disc
This was the state under the seat
Air filters were just as bad
I adjusted the zorst a bit
Chit or bust i went to work on her,Fixed the number plate down on the side and chopped the rear a bit and fitted cow horn style bars.
But it did,nt look right
More work to lift the zorst up
Starting to take shape
But still not right
So back to the frame

Nipped a bit more off it and fitted the rear muddy

Lowering it more later.
Cleaned up the front pads and disc ,also drilled some pretty holes in it .
Now she stops .
Bit of rattle can paint with fleck ,single seat and home made panels

Got an oil leak behind the points on the cam seal .(the tic over lol) I advanced the timing ,and every other thing you coud do and its holding there at 2k revs but some times cuts out.used to it now .
Got some cone filters on they'r way.
new plugs/caps,she's had an oil change ,starts a lot better,more or less off the button now ,Rear shoes need changing next,Couple other jobs.
But she's on the road .
Zorst is now stone chip black,And i,ve added some black stipes to the panels.
She rides tidy,but reving hard say in 3rd onwards it holds at about 6k revs for a while then pulls through right up to the red line ,Just holds there at 6k for some reason ?
Plugs look a good color,Going to clean the carb out when the filters are back see if any jets are blocked and put an inline filter on.
Also got my eye on a 400 motor but it aint got no carbs ,So hafto find out if the 250 carbs will work and if the down pipes will bolt straight on.
