wow! my squire chain seemed to have given up like a snowman in the desert lol will look into it!

just ordered those two exact ones, been looking everywhere for reviews so quite reasuring to know other people are happy with them thanks! and i would sleep with the bike, dont think the missis would be happy being demoted to the sofa lol. were in a ground floor flat so im able to put the wall bracket next to our window and with a screaming alarm too should wake up! i hope!

ive found cheapest place is race meets, been to canada hights in kent, for the maxis races. they're normaly flogging stuff quite cheap, managed to get yamaha trousers with some of the sponsers on for a tenner. last years jerseys are normaly about £10 too if ur not too worried about how upto date they are.

Previously had a few bikes nicked so thought ide ask some advice bout security on a little DT125r, im thinking over night locked up with screaming alarm and chained to a wall mount. not too sure tho what brands to go for or any places to get a decent deal. brought a Xena screaming alarm prevously, but turned out to be a bit crap as one night some **** picked the bike up and walked off with it presumably. it was also chained with a squire chain, only a cheapish one but found that with a link cut. any ideas would be much appretiatedQQ

sounds like it could be a bit of fun in that case, found a place to do a full re build and seals, for piece of mind while engine is out might get them to do that.

I've just brought a 2001 yamaha DT125r. the guy i brought it from has said he's been told by a mechanic that the crank seals have gone and need replacing, runs alright, abit noisy but thinking that might be due to holes in the exhaust, a freinds managed to get a clean one for me so going to fit that when it arives. apparently it hasnt long had a full engine re build, ive got some pictures showing this so unsure why he's saying this. is there any way of checking this without taking too much of the engine appart?

thought ide say hi, new user, DT enthusiast, know a little about them, love riding them! previously owned 2, 1st a fine tuned 2002 model and 2nd a 1989 beat up old thing untill they got stolen! got a bit put off, but have now got a nice little 2001. need a bit of work but still a lovely bike. anyway hello to all!
