okay thanks guys i have had such a hard time with this bike i tried cms they dont even list the divvy 400 but ill take a look at fowlers tho im pretty sure wemoto buy from them as it is :/ if no luck there my only other option is yamaha them selves and main dealer prices for this bike i think are ging to be ludirous

im having a simmilar issue im wondering if where its been sat perhaps the valves and valve seats have got slightly corroded and perhaps arent closing fully thus not creating enough vacuum or compression as i have fuel in getting to cylinders and have spark too im occasionally getting it to run for a second or two then nothing and sometimes (scarilly) backfires flame through the carb im debating stripping the head to re-lap the valves but without a replacement gasket set im hesistant as i cant seem to find the gasket kits anywhere

i have a yamaha xj 400 diversion and am cueerntly looking for advice on best place so source parts as i work for wemoto and im ashamed to say we are lacking in the listed parts for this bike i know its a long shot but in the process of getting mine sorted im hoping to put together a more extensive range of info on this bike any help greatfully recieved also if there are any other yams parts we dont stock and know there part numbers please let me know so i can get onto wemoto admin to help others out
