Mini Moto Carb
Hi Guys, I can imagine of you are thinking its stupid for anyone to own a Mini moto, I baught it off of a friend just to strip down, Rebuild and replace what needs replacing. The problem I am having is it got to me not working and from what I have checked it isnt sparking so I will be sorting that, The other thing is the carb valve with the little dial style handle on the side that allows fuel trough, Aparantly it has been turned god knows how many times, I dont have any idea if it being turned around the same way many times will stop fuel flow or is it on something where it just matters at what angle its at and not a thread? Im sorry for the Un technical explenation on this, It may read out confusing but any ideas on the matter would be ace Joe.

Which Chain And Sprocket set?
Chain, Sprockets + Cush Rubbers Fitted The gearbox output shaft is quite worn tho, The front sprocket doesnt sit quite right, It wiggles a bit but it will have to do, Im not forking out for a new gearbox at the price of it! Running well and good now, got a Rev counter coming today that Im going to fit then just a couple of things to do and it will be back to normal. The only issue Im having is finding a new housing for the dials as my current one is cracked, I cant find one anywhere and Im not paying Yamahas Unbelievable prices for it, Just not worth it. Thanks For all the help guys.

Is Fully comp worth it for a Small bike?
Hi guys, This is just a general conversation that I would like peoples opinions with, I currently have a Yamaha Ybr125 Custom 58 reg under fully comp costing me a massive £400 a year for it... Now ive heard arguments that with cheaper bikes a small accident will pretty much allways result in a cat D write off. Im not massivly educated in Insurance so what is your opinion? Is it worth getting fully comp or should cheaper bike riders stick with Third party or third part F+T?

Which Chain And Sprocket set?
My Chain at the momment is currently hanging off, I cant wait to get the new one fitted when it arrives, Ive allways oiled my chain once a week, I'll start doing it daily in the wet and every 3 days in the dry from now on. I've also ordered a Haynes manual for it, I just need to get some cush rubbers and I have everything. Thanks for your opinions guys.

Which Chain And Sprocket set?
Hi Guys, My bike is coming up to need a Chain and Sprocket set way before it should be needed but I have no choice, My current one is absoloutely... well.. Nevermind. Ive been quoted £140 for an official Yamaha chain and I sure as hell can not afford that, Now on ebay there are several choices and anyone with knowledge of quality of brands products could really help right now. If anyone could possibly tell me which is the best of the listed below it would be much appreiciated. Option 1: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-YBR-125-CUSTOM-CHAIN-AND-SPROCKETS-08-10-/260849071195?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3cbbd0f45b Option 2: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-YBR125-CUSTOM-2008-11-D-I-D-Chain-and-Sprocket-Standard-Kit-/140652021139?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20bf838593 both of these products have several different listings ranging from £30 to £70 but I presume if its the same brand and new its the same quallity so the cheaper I can get good quality the better. Any help would be ace. Thanks. Joe.

I jut need to get the chain and sprocket, Other part and the manual and I should be good to go. Im coming into £60 spare in a couple of weeks so Ill get the Chain and Sprockets first.

Chain and Sproket and Other bearing.
Ok, It was done on the 19th November 2011 so A bit longer than I thought. It was done when my bike was at: 18697 Miles and it now has 21521 On the clock. Surly a Chain and sproket set should last more than 2800 miles? Thanks Joe

Chain and Sproket and Other bearing.
Hi There, I Take it to Pro Bike in Newbury everytime I get it done. When I had it done there once I noticed that it almost had no play in it atall. I use Yamalube Platinum chain spray for it. I will get the history out a bit later and check the milage on it. Thanks for the help, I will update when I have had a look. Joe.

Chain and Sproket and Other bearing.
Hi guys, I own and ride a Yammy YBR125 Custom 58 reg, A few months ago I had a new chain and sproket fitted costing me a hefty £160 from a Yamaha Dealer. I lubricated it as often as i thought needed(Usually on a weekly basis) and took it in to get the chain tention done when needed. But allready a few months down the line it needs doing again... A few days ago I took it in to get the chain adjusted and the service manager said he has done what he can but it is now at the maximum adjustment point so you will need a new chain and sproket, Also there is (And I dont remember this exactly so it is a vague explenation) something that moves to much that shouldnt move as much as it should and he descrived the motion as a Circular motion so I presume it is also something to do with the sproket. Now ive been looking at a few vids on Youtube about changing sprokets and it all seems fine and dandy but Id like to know if Yamaha have any special tools needed for the job or anything specifics I need to know for the job. Any ideas on what the turning part is would be great, He said the part would cost around £20 on average and can be fitted when you change the sproket. Any ideas on where I could find the Torque settings for the sproket bolts ect would be ace aswell! I cant afford to spend £180 on it as Im a student and well... I dont have £180. I came off of this bike back in December due to a large amount of mud in the middle of a 60mph road just around a corner and I completely lost interest in the bike after that but Id like to get back into it now as it used to be my pride and Joy before the accident. Any help will be amazing. Thanks! Joe.
