has anyone had experience of this task? i'm interested to know about this adjsuster tool that is needed after the engine is dropped and then again once it is in place..... according to the manual the engine can be removed without any special tools but once it is removed the special tool is need to loosen off the engine rear mounting adjusters and then needed once again when the engine is in place. i cannot find this tool at all and it seems i might need to make one...which the manual shows how to. anyone experienced this?

my 2000 model r6 has an issue with the speedo/clocks,there is nothing at all.only the tacho works and its got me thinking that it could be a loose wire or a problem with the clocks themselves,which i'm guessing will be a replacement unit and thats it. any ideas?

hello all,as of today i've purchased a 2000 model R6 and the good thing about that for me is i'm finally back on 2 wheels after a lay off from september 2010. i had a kawasaki zx9r c model back then which i crashed on track which resulted in a broken arm.it never put me off but for financial reasons the bike had to go and i've not been able to afford one until now and i'm well pleased. there's a few issue's with the r6 so i'll be asking on here and hopefully get cracking with it,first issue is with the speedo so i'll get asking. :icon_biggrin:
