Someone requested a picture.. Still trying to figure out how to post a picture.

Here is a picture of my 1967 Yamaha 250 YDS3. I'm sure it is not original paint. I plan on having it painted blue/white tank paint scheme. I'll post a picture when i figure out how to do it. I don't see any options to import a picture.

Hi i am from western Massachusetts. Just purchased a 1967 Yamaha 250 YDS3. Planning on restoring it to original state. I also own a 1974 Montesa Cota 247, 1966 Bultaco Matador, 1983 Husqvarna 500, 1970 BSA 650 Thunderbolt, 2004 KTM 950 Adventurer, 2007 Triumph 900 Scrambler, and a 2010 KTM 300 XCW. So i have a lot of bikes to keep me busy. Thanks for the help i already received from one of the members.

Thanks for the info on the battery model. I am missing the battery and the small harness that attaches to the battery. I have a red wire (pos), black wire (neg). I also have a green plug and a brown plug in the battery area. The brown plug has a blue wire plugged into it. Does anyone know what plugs in to these wires? i have a manual coming. Just wondered where they attach. TIA.

I just purchased a 1967 Yamaha YDS3. It was missing the battery. Does anyone know what model battery it takes. I know it is 6 volt.
