Cracking stuff there Hubo.. The DT is the camel of bikes, sounds like a Top Gear equivalent test you have carried out there. Glad at least you made it to tell the tell

YBR 125 2011 Model - In need of parts.
Ref Helmets, as a guide I used the following site to help with a purchase but MRR has given the best advise really.. http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/ (although regarding flip fronts and half helmets, judging by your accident one of those would not have helped you much - of course no-one should be riding with a flip front up 'they' say!).

Helmet Visor in the morning
I use Muc-Off Anti-Fog treatment.. not the cheapest but works a treat to be totally honest. (Each application lasts awhile too!)

Boot buying help
Hi there, Unfortunately the only solution I would think of is, going to a shop and trying a fair few on and see which fit the best. Some shops do internet price comparisons so worth checking out too. The worst thing is uncomfortable boots, ruins a good ride!

Newbie saying hello - YBR125 Custom
Thanks for the welcome guys... as for the drought.. silly little showers all over the place...but still a major hose pipe ban so can't even wash the bike properly

Best value chain lube
Just brought some Wurst and it seems pretty dam good. No back spray at all! Would recommend it and yep been 'advised' to lube the chain after every 'wet' ride and/or after cleaning the bike. As Drewpy mentioned, after a ride is better as the chain is warm and 'open' to allow the lube to penetrate more.

Hi from a new member
Hi Fantakkas, Also running in a YBR125...The manual says: first 90 miles - Don't go above 5,000 revs,Stop after every 1 hour of riding to let the engine cool for 5-10 mins and no full throttle. 90-300 miles - Avoid prolonged operation above 6,000 revs, rev engine freely through the gears but no full throttle 300-600 miles - Avoid prolonged operation above 7,500 revs, avoid prolonged full throttle use and more importantly at 600 miles needs engine oil replaced (after 600 miles - GO FOR IT!!)

Do you use your steering lock?
Yep also use it all the time.. it also stops sneaky scooter riders trying to move the bike when parked in motorcycle bays in London so they can squeeze in! (would post a picture of one but not yet figured out how to do that just yet!).

ICE Details
Unfortunately, with an Iphone it's pretty pointless having ICE contacts (I do have the family in favourites) as I have the phone passcode locked in case it gets stollen. That said seems like a pretty good idea to have some sort of ICE details on hand just in case the worst happens - will stick a little card with them in my wallet - so thanks for the heads up. Good idea.
