  1. Black cabs, Addison Lee minicabs, suits on scooters and white van drivers .... (London) Also find truck drivers and some bus drivers to be the most aware of surroundings too..
  2. Hi and welcome... Nice job done there mate, looks like new.
  3. Hi Toby and welcome from a fellow YBR Londoner.. Great write up, if / when you can would love to see some pic's of the bike with all the gear on. Brilliant bikes for London (and for what's it worth I;m 38yrs old and just got back into biking so dont let the age bother you )
  4. What a gorgeous bike indeed.. nicely done!

    Krav Maga!!

One hard dude! ....No Chuck Norris though
  6. Hadn't seen that one before.. psml!!!! excellent
  7. Welcome regressing.. looks like a pretty decent example there...
  8. I think so yes but you have to declare the NCB to the company (and no doubt show proof too)..
  9. I would agree with the others that £100 isn't really that much of a difference given what extra you get with FC. I also own a YBR custom and have FC as use it to commute. Never know when some moron will knock it over, step on the exhaust or try take it for a joy ride.
  10. Quality little kitty that!
  11. Bit of an obvious one but have you checked to see if the actual wheel(s) are buckled? ... plus an 8 year old tyre may not be in the best 'health' either.
  12. Quality! the last one was my favourite....
  13. Looks lovely!!! (not sure that number plate will 'pass' though mate)
  14. YBR fan here too!!! (interested to hear the result though guys!). Be safe..
  15. Dam shame they don't target bikers too... I keep my wallet in my front right pocket just in case these ladies are reading.
  16. Unfort. it doesn't seem to unreasonable to me mate... My personal opinion is that it's worth having a bike covered for theft as low life scum will steal anything given the opportunity. A lot has to do with where you store the bike overnight, get a better discount for having it garaged.
  17. Makes it look so easy too... lovely sun tan though!
  18. I use 'Shift It' helmet & visor cleaner along side a micro fibre cloth.... seems to do the job of getting rid of the nasties and doesn;t leave an eye watering smell like the old stuff used too.
  19. Could also be riding with those figures constantly covering the brake lever.....
  20. Cheers guys, seem to get the drift... Mrs thinks I;m bonkers, after every wet ride I towel try it.. Leaf blower it is!!!
  21. Hi all, Appreciate that there are some very expensive Bike dryers out there and call me tight but wouldn't a half decent powered (2,000w) hair dryer be just as good at getting rid of water in the hard to reach areas? Of course I;m talking about the bike not my personal bits. Any other ideas or suggestions welcomed - my concern is with hidden water causing some potential rust issues. (Looking to apply ACF-50 on but read the bike has to be very clean and dry first!) ...or do I just wash and dry as best I can and stop worrying about it?
  22. I also find that 'mature' riders actually acknowledge the nod.. I get some right dirty looks when I nod at bikers next to me at lights (special the female ones )
