I've always used the Oxford Aquatex. I use two and they do the job. The inner one always gets dirty with oil and crud etc. Don't make the same mistake as me and put it in the washer because it will ruin all the waterproofing.

Haha Slice you'll be surprised at how many questions I answer on here. I regularly get PM's about XT speedo's etc.

Once I get a new set I'll make a new post. I'll be able to do it if I just take my time and don't rush it.

Got some pipe and made my own bleeder tool. Did it in about half an hour. I'm feeling all smug and big headed now haha. Next job is changing the chain and sprockets.

Yeah I'm definately not going to spill any. I learned that lesson the hardway. I spilled fluid all over a swingarm. Didn't look too good.

Was just a bit confused about the method. I didn't have a pipe/bottle so I will get one tomorrow and finish the job. It's a bit silly riding around without a front brake.

Well guess what? I've cocked it up. I've fixed the lever etc all properly and even connected the brake light which is good for me. I just need to bleed them now. I'm going to get a bottle and pipe tool thingy. I tried to do it your way Cynic but it didn't work out

Cynic you make it sound so simple. I will try that method.

I need to replace it on my bike. Got the part luckily 2nd hand off ebay. Brand new they are £240!!! I nearly had a heart attack when they told me. All that cash for a bit of cable, brake lever and a little box for fluid. Anyway I persevered and one came up on ebay for £32. All I need now is some fluid and I'm going to crack on with it. I've got my manual and I'm going to do it all myself. I'm just anxious about bleeding the bugger. It took me 3 days to bleed a rear brake on the XT.

through my experience 125 chain and sprockets seem to wear down quicker. The chain especially seems to need to be tightened every week. Even after cleaning and lubing I still need a new set every 6k miles.

She's a beauty.

Please don't mention XT 125's I had the same problem with the rear caliper.

I loved it. Bit dated now but at the time it was groundbreaking.

T2 has to be the best sequel of all time.

I think it's just to get one over on Apple. Plus they'll make cash on selling apps.

(Sorry about all these tech posts) Turned on my laptop and on the bottom icon bar there was an unfamiliar Windows symbol. I clicked on it and it's a free Windows 10 download. It's the full system as well. I read about this ages ago and was waiting for t but forgot all about it. Was debating whether or not to get it as I like and am used to the one I have but thought I might as well move forward as I'm currently on Windows 7. Check your computers.

I suppose I'll try and get used to it. It is crap though. You'd of thought they'd of updated it by now.

I got this app probably a year ago, I never use it because it is so badly designed and a nightmare to navigate. It doesn't let you access the forum or area you want. It just displays random posts from random sub forums. It also has other sites which I have no interest in at all and won't let me delete them. What a load of crap.

I'm going to try Padgetts in Batley next. They're supposed to be really good. I need to fit a new clutch cable which I can manage easily and soon a new chain and sprockets set.
