I have finally got round to buying some new boots six months after getting my bike I kept changing my mind about what sort and style I wanted. I knew I needed some badly for safety reasons but kept putting off, also I was sick of my feet getting soaked. Anyway I settled on these, I'm sure they will last me a good few year. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTOCROSS-Racing-BOOTS-by-WULFSPORT-in-BLACK-Race-Enduro-Motox?item=360397066462&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D1%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2344971192805742524

Also make sure you give it plenty of lube.

The original speedo was knackered. I was going to replace it with a Yammy one but that would break as well in time. It is a common problem with the model of my bike so I bought that one. I'm that busy at the moment I don't really have time to do it, and I can't afford my bike to be out of action. I do plan on doing all the other up and coming work though, I've just bought one of these to help me. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BIKE-LIFT-Motocross-Stand-Enduro-Motocycle-MX-/370534959820?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item56459acacc

I thought the going rate was £50 an hour for labour? He said the speedo was a bitch to fit because it had sensors on it for the highbeam, indicator, neutral lights. I was going to do the disc myself but when I started the first to unscrew the first bolt, it rounded, so I sacked it. I could of done the speedo as well with some help froma friend but couldn't be arsed with the stress.

Finally got my bike a speedo fitted today. I got charged £195 for a new front disck/pads fitting and a speedo fitting, all of which I supplied. Do you think this is reasonable?

I was advised to check the valves on my bike. I need a feeler gauge, I have looked on eBay and found these, I just want to know if it is suitable. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DRAPER-10-BLADE-METRIC-FEELER-GAUGE-SET-GUAGE-73988-/160660458906?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item25681c0d9a

No the speedo has all that and it has it's own seperate power supply, it connects to the battery. This is the one I have bought. A garage is fitting it. I just wondered what will happen to the plug. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Trail-Tech-Vapor-Digital-Speedo-Dashboard-Stealth-Motorcycle-Universal-/140842979969?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20cae55281

It feeds the speedo so it controls that, neutral, indicator, side lights, high beam lights.

On Tuesday I am finally getting a new speedo fitted to my pride and joy. I am going to take the original speedo off myself, my problem is......... What shall I do with the plug connected to the loom which will no longer be of use? Shall I cover it in tape? And how will this affect all the other electrics?

That bike looks mint, I love the wheels. It really does make you think.

I think I will use that method on the whole bike. I'll just buy a few different size brushes.

Cheers, I'm going to get an artists paintbrush as well to reach those awkward places. It says that a little bit goes a long way, is it really that good you only need a rreally small amount?

Just ordered some ACF50 from eBay. Where exactly do I apply it, do I just spray it on every metal part?
  24. I switched from a full face to my crosser and at first I didn't like it at all. It was uncomfortable and distracting, now i'm used to it and I love it. My new mirror lens goggles came today and they look ace. I just cant wear them at night. I think I will try one of those like yours when I have to replace mine.
