Yamaha XJ6 Naked 2009
The Leo and the Devil are nice but blinking expensive. I too have bought a naked and plan to upgrade the exhaust. While looking for alternatives I found this from ixil. My link I really like it and at over £250 cheaper than the nearest rival i think its worth a pop. I have seen a few on youtube but they all seem to be continent bikes. Any over in UK got one? and what do you think. p.s. I am assuming that as it is basically straight through ala the leo vince, devil and GRP then similar weight advantages and HP will ensue.

XJ6N 2010 exhaust
So Ive just gone and ordered a new XJ6N and was looking at exhausts for them. Man are they hard to find. What I am after is getting that fruity sound. Not bothered about extra HP as I dont want to buy a full system. Anyone got any suggestions on what they have found and where to get them in the UK. My biggest concern is the blackbox cat and silencer, do they pretty much nerf anything but a full system? Anyhelp greatly appreaciated.

bike cleaning?
I use the following Muck off for the whole bike then; Armor all carshampoo and wipe on wax for fairings; then WD40 for wheels and tough road tar bits; Armor all plastics spray for the black plastic bits; Autosol for metal bits (only when necessary). One thing I do use is a garden pump sprayer for water as its powerful enough to remove dirt adn stuff after muck off but not powerful enough to cause problems with bearings a stuff

piccies of my cat
erm to be honest I dont know. I know they did two reds one was a solid red and mine is metallic red. From memory the solid red was only in a two tone with black scheme where my red the black and the blue are the only all over one colour scheme. If anyone does know the code it would be useful to order touch paint and stuff.

First ride on my cat
well picked up my thundercat today and took her for my first ride. All I can say is that compared to my SV650 its an amazing piece of kit. To be fair the the SV is a budget bike and I would recommend it to anyone who wnats a lot of fun on a budget but the CAt is more comfortable, quicker, better suspension, better build quality and although heavier it handles far better. In short Im glad im a yam man now

Newbie noob
Its an 03 plate so only 4 years old and its only done 8700 miles. It wasnt so much that there will be anything wrong with the suspension its just that my old bike wasnt as adjustable as the Thundercat I was was just wondering what are teh best settings on the thundercat.

Newbie noob
Hello, Just joined as I have bought a Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat. 03 plate, pick her up next week. My previous bike was a SV650 so looking forward to the extra umphh the Thundercat has. Any hints or tips for a first time owner of a Thundercat would be greatly appreciated. Any advice on the set up of the suspension would be especially helpful as the suspension on my previous SV650 is about as adjustable as my 3 years raleigh Bumble Bee!!! I understand you need height and weight so 5'11" about 13 stone ish
