its a 6v system and its just had a brand new battery about a 2month ago coz it dint come with 1and filled to the correct level and iv cleaned all the earth points connections and switchs and its still the same

hi mate i tested the resistance today but i checked the connections again and found a lose wire so i put some more solder on it so it was a solid connection and it runs thank you for all your help. i also have another problem when i am indicating and press the brake my indicator goes out untill i release the brake any help would be great.

yh i have no spark kk

yh it was running till about a month ago it just cut out i was testing its new exhaust at the time

no i changed them hoping that it would fix it because they looked worn

hi no it was on dc but just tryed it on ac n im getting nothing

Hi all, just wanted to say hello as i am new to this site. My names Callum from Manchester and im restoring my 1989 yamaha yb100 im new to motorbikes but a car mechanic by trade. i brought my yb100 in chorley in november last year as a project for the summer but now i have a problem its was runing but it just cut out and wont start again iv replaced the spark plug and ignition coil points and condenser but im still not getting a spark i tested the voltage coming from the source coil in the flywheel magneto and im only getting 0.2v. Iv checked the connections and all seems fine but im still gettin the same reading of 0.2v so now im at aloss any help would be great. thanks callum

hi guys i have a problem with my yb100 not starting i have changed the ingtion coil and spark plug points n condeser but it still wont start i then thought it might be low compression but the compression is good i then checked the soures coil in the magneto and im only getting a reading of 0.2v iv cleaned the flywheel up and checked the connections and they all seem fine but now im at aloss for wot to do or check any ideas?
