    hi guys, have a question for you, when u turn on the ignitsion should the rev counter sweep , it doesent on mine, any help would be great

    hello chaps, new to site, i am from dublin, just recently bought a 99 r1, i had a number of sports bikes over the years including, 3 r1s. have to say the r1 imo is the best sports bike out there. after selling my 05 r1 before xmas, i bought a vfr 800, it was grand and comfey, but i missed the sports bike buzz, so i bought the 99 model, cheers mick
