have 1979 yamaha 750xs have good spark but does even try to fire. have gas coming out of petcocks to carbs , but pull plugs and there dry. any one have answer

Been biking 40 + years , 1 new yamaha in 1980 6 other yamaha's between. . now a project 1979 Xs 750 . , also a 2004 victroy kingpin,as highway cruiser. Great sight loking foward learning some info and sharing what i know. 20 plus years as Autobody Tech. Now hospital maintenace.
