    wondering about valve adjustment

    Jimmer posted a topic in Yamaha Workshop
    I have a 2009 v star 1300. I was wondering if the valves really need to be adjusted as often as owners manual say. The dealer charges alot & dont know if they are just trying to bleed me , or if its really that important. I think they said every 4000 mi.This is my 1st bike, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
