I use: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-BRUTE-FORCE-MOTORCYCLE-BIKE-WALL-GROUND-ANCHOR-/380410180169?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item589236b249 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxford-Hardcore-Chain-Padlock-Hardened-Steel-Lock-/330726181552?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item4d00d10ab0 and a Xena XX-6 alarmed disc lock. The ground anchor is very sturdy and when the chain is running through it, it covers the screws up. Placement and immovabilty can be an issue though as it sticks out and doesnt move. No problems with the chain, which i only use at home. But a determined thief could cut through it if they realllllly wanted to. Theres some videos from a chain brand on youtube which shows each brand of chain being cut with a pair of bolt cutters, but i find it obviously biased to their own product. The disclock is useful as it fits in a pocket easily and seems quite tough. It can be abit erm....tempermental when it wants to be, but its very loud.
  2. idle in the haynes manual says 1300 rpm +/- 50rpm
  3. SAE 10W/30 SE Motor oil. As for the sprocket teeth, the best i can do is count the ones in the picture, theres no mention of them anywhere.....16
  4. Hey matey, ive got some info from the haynes book i have of this model (owned one to do up, but ended up scrapping it): Tyre pressure: 21 Front, 26 Rear (unloaded. 28 Front, 33 Rear (Loaded/Hi-Speed) Fork legs capacity 150cc fork oil each leg. Just looking for the sprocket info now.
  5. do this. Or keep it in 2nd and rev the shit out of it, youll lose revs and speed if you change upto 3rd. keep above 20 on the curve (the surface is very very grippy ((well mine was anyway)). good luck!
  6. Looking good! As for the mirrors, i think the left hand side (as if youre sitting on the bike) unscrews counterclockwise and the right hand side unscrews clockwise. Good luck!
  7. Hi Scott, Thanks for the reply, but im watching that already Im going to see if i can glue and clamp it back together next time i get the chance, i dont want to go through replacing the lot.
  8. Always use mine, just out of habit now.
  9. Had a little incident the other day (happened to be my birthday), basically ran out of road and ended up in a ditch. Resulting in a new brake lever and my right side fairing and exhaust cover to be resprayed :-/ The only part ive had problems sorting is the footpeg rubber..... now i can only find the whole foot peg/side stand assembly.. is there any chance of finding just the peg? Cheers!
  10. My Shark S900 has a flip-down visor. Its been really useful and i like it, except: It can come down abit too hard on the bridge of you nose If you wear glasses it can get caught in them The lever is abit awkward to find at first

  14. Hey all! My names Shaun and im 24. Im a chef and live near Maidstone in Kent. I currently own a '11 YBR-125 and previously has an XS100 which was a project i had to stop. Ive been riding for about 10 months now, clocked 2400miles, mainly to and fro work. I plan on doing my test very soon and upgrading to an XJ6N. My dream bike would be a Street Triple R in white.
