Just wondering whos got the highest milage Dragstar 125 here? I'm wondering how far they can go without giving it 2 new pistons and rings. Or cylinder for that matter.

Cool, however.... "predicted size of the universe" has me laughing, as to even get an estimate, they have used information collected from the observable universe, probably obsceured, by gravity effecting the light and all the objects in the way, and at the data coming in from our furthest views is billions of years old, unless they have predicted what its like in that many years its probbably highly innaccurate for the estimated size of the uni, its still expanding to this day as we can see from red shift, (all cellestial objects are moving further apart). All the objects look fine, but past all the galaxies... no one dare claim to know whats going on.

Aslong as you up the fuel, for the mix to be the same ratio, yes, more air = more power, aslong as there is fuel to use it.

Yeah I know, I thought it may have been similar to the 2up front and 2 down rear, but had the ratio calculated and its too much for the engine aint it. Personally, I like keeping the stock on the front and only changing the rear down, its easier on the engine I think. I might go 2 down on the back and 1 up front... or none.

I got the old part soaking in bleach to remove the flaking chrome, is that stuff chemical proof and heat proof? I'm using a polar based oil, if its a paint it may dissolve it? Cheers for the reply.

Hiya there fellas and sheilas, Got a part off me draggy 125, because its chrome was coming off, wanted to replace, but its name alludes me. It sits in dead center of the clutch case I think, and it has a rubber O-Ring in the outer groove. Sorry for bad quality, my brother seems to have knackered the cameras settings. If anyone knows where its sold online or whats its name is then I would greately appreciate the info. Pics below, thanks. Once again thanks.

I totally get the fuel stats now, cheers. I may have to take her in for a complete check up, i.e chains, tappets, and stuff, she has a fuel cleaner in her so that mayu have contributed to the consumption. I noticed after I topped her up I had more power, maybe all this in conjunction is what made her sluggish and thirsty. I have just orderes a 19t front sprocket, people have done the 2 up front and 2 down rear one but I'd rather just do 3 up front.

I had to due to taking out the rubber air restrictor, I discovered my front tire flat this morning, if it was going down whilst riding then that would have made it sup more ale.

Do you make exhausts?

The starter motor could of had its day, it can get hot with the engine and they deteriorate. If its getting its power but giving out a whir, then its coils (or magnets if it has them as its design) have become weak or uninsulated.

Anyone actually changed their needle?

Eh, Im sure I was reading a thread about someone who was modding their xvs trying to reach 70? Ah well, I suppose I'm ok then, just need me sprocket and maybe another 1 or 2 sizes up on the main jet.... I dunno about the fuel though, I'll have to fill up and watch her, I have no idea how much is left by looking down the cap due to the tank shape...I thought it was roughly half, I've had roughly 2-3 main rides on her, still getting used to it, anyone know how many miles should be in the reserve area? Noticed she struggles to pull at top end until engine reaches a certain rpm to pull fuel, once warmed up she is fine, and summer will bring the A/F ratio closer, so you recon I should leave the main jet for now?
