Hi and thanks for the welcome

Hello Everyone I thought i would introduce myself to the Yamaha mix, my name is Richard but i like being called Ricky. I've not long got myself my first Yam and its a bike i've always liked the look of but as its a 1990 bike its got a few problems that need sorting out and she's abit of a battel scared war horse and she's going to need loads of tlc. I'm 43 and live in Bradford but come from Maidenhead berkshire. My love of the motorcycles I think started when I was around 13 years old when I discovered an old motorbike in my back garden that despite my dad telling me to stay away from it I had the bike up and running in no time at all and i think it was some sort of Honda. So thats abit about me and i look forward to talking to some of you soon. Ricky

Hi All I'm new to the Owners Club so hi to all. i've just got an fj1200 a few weeks ago, (This is a bike i've always wanted but just never got around to until now ). The bike was running ok but two days ago when i got it out and started it up it sounded like it had no power and after putting the choke off the bike cuts out and did not start unless i put full choke back on and now its not even doing that, so i am at a loss . The FJ i have is a 1990 bike with loads of service history but nothing saying that it has ever had any probs with this sort of thing. Thanks All Stompus-Maximus
