x-referancing part numbers from different bikes?
Only teasing... seems I use my phone more for Internet surfing than making phone calls anymore.

Naughty, naughty. I was just going to leave it alone... All the bike porn makes me wish for some time off work to get dirty.

The first mega zip link had a 5M3-84519-90-33 part number (http://www.megazip.ru/ru/scooter/yamaha/view/457/13368/159946#g159968) and does look a bit different.

+1 I'm on my phone and can't tell what year your DT is, but have you tried the schematics on powersportsplus.com? At least to get a part number maybe. The bracket looks just like mine except where the light assembly mounts. Not that it helps, but my DT has the round taillight (437-84551-61-20; http://www.powersportsplus.com/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1976/DT175C/TAILLIGHT/parts.html) and it goes on a few models (http://www.powersportsplus.com/parts/detail/yamaha/YP-437-84551-61-20.html)... So you can probably rule those models out. ??

Alright, alright... you're probably all expecting to come back to a complete and running bike by now, eh? Well, I'm afraid I have to disappoint. All I've done recently is get replace the front and rear brake shoes and clean up the wheel hubs. The oil seal in the rear wheel hub was a !@*#, but I finally got it, and now have the wheel bearings out. All that's left is to replace the wheel bearings and seals... and then the wheels will be done. So that's some progress... not much, but some. Took the motor from CorradosandYahas' bike to the shop and they want to do the top end. They said the bearings are good, but the piston and barrel need work. They're going to go up one size on the piston so hopefully I'm not getting totally taken. ?? Thanks for staying tuned... I haven't abandoned my baby.
