Nev, don't you agree, it's far nicer to tinker in the comfort of the living room (cuppa tea at the ready) than to shiver your bits off in a garage... I know I do.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I love hearing of others with an XJ9 as there are so few out and about these days. Good luck with your project Ian, I'm a tad jealous as I wish I had the time to pick mine apart and restore her to her former glory.. Ah well... maybe one day. x Niq.

Hiya, I just joined up and have an XJ900F from '94. What do you need to know, how many RPM is what MPH? in top gear at 5000 rpm mine does about 80 if that's useful.I'd have to take her out if you want a more accurate reading tho.

Just thought I'd be polite and say hiya to you all. I've had my yammy XJ900F for the best part of 15 years, love her to bits. She needs a bit of work, tlc but runs fine. I know I have the Honda too but in all fairness I don't really like the TransAlp much, bit of a mistake to buy and most times when I have the change to go for a spin, yammy comes with me. Looking forward to meeting any here who also own a XJ9 as there seem to be very few on the road. Actually, only seen one... last week lol, at Ace Cafe in London which was fantastic. Anyway, if you want to know more, just ask. Niq.
