Anyway I used to own a Yammy FS1SE, (low rider) lol, all these yrs later got the bug, did my CBT, theory and DAS, passed mod 2 a few weeks ago and now the extremely proud owner of a 2002 YZF 600r Thundercat. Have a permanent grin on my face and can't believe a wasted all those yrs. Anyway prePare for stupid questions a plenty. Steve
  2. Hi there, new to the forum and looking for some advice. I recently bought a 2002 cat and although bike is prisine for its age the rear shock spring is corroded and its bugginf me. Wa looking to strip it out, clean and repaint it but I've found a company that will supply a new spring relatively cheaply. Only problem is they need the specification for the spring to supply a like for like replacement and they don't have them. They are looking for the Internal diameter of the spring and the load rating in Lbs/sq In. I can give then the I/D measurement but have no idea where to find or how to work out the load detail. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Cheers Steve
