Evening all. Just bought a 1983 DT125LC and love the thing as it takes me back to my long lost youth. Only issue I have with bike is that when running the lights go dim and bright intermittantly? Does anyone know the location of the frame earthing points on the bike? I think the wiring looms been 'got at' during it's life and I can remember buying one many moons ago but now they are NLA from Yamaha. If anyone could give me some pointers or know of a good loom for sale I'd really appreciate it. All the best Gary

Dear all I'm new to this site so just testing the water with a couple of questions? Just bought a DT125LC. Lovely bike but lights intermittantly go from bright to dim and vice versa? Electrics are a 'black art' to me so does anyone know where the earthing points on frame are for this model (1983). As with most bikes of this age the wiring loom has been got at. To be honest i've purchased new looms in the past but now they are NLA so I'm stuck. If anyone has experience of this model or knows of a source of NOS parts I'd be very grateful of the support.
