you'd be ok, paint it yellow and stencil 'high voltage transformer' on it or similar (just joking), - not a bad solution, better than covers really but probably cheaper to build a suitable shed

bennetts is relatively cheap but they royally sting you for mid term changes

it is actually rather a nightmare all round isn't it - even motorways are now subject to nutters swerving off at the last minute from the middle or even fast lanes ditto vehicles entering from slip roads without miuch care.

circumstances of accident speak for themselves i would have thought on Why do people try to bend the truth? this is a known human condition, people can tend to blame others - even criminals can somehow claim they are innocent/things aren't their fault not withstanding blatant evidence to the contrary, shame, guilt, pride...? however, if the police convict the motorist it will definitely make things easier.

sorry about your housemate: largish vans and those big 4 x 4 vehicles- they tend to push out expecting others to stop/slow due to their size, lost my cool with one such type last week.

thanks for remembering me/welcome off to my mum's (she is 91) on my bike for a few days, she will either have a few jobs for me to do or it will be like an enforced rest, never know until i get there, if the latter and the weather is ok i'll see a bit of kent on the bike, on a previous occasion i visited pevensey bay and saw the eastbourne pier fire, looked like something you see on the news (syria) from a distance. can't find a pevensey picture so here's another kent trip although taken at deal i think

wf - i'm giving the black diversion type bike to our son when he gets his a2, which i am sure he will, he'll take it on his insurance renewal in jan as mid term changes work out expensive that leaves the three pre diversions which are older but i like them better being an old boy myself, i like two bikes running as if i have a puncture/breakdown i can rely on the other the one at the bottom of the garden really is a source of spares, it cost £200 and has paid for itself already, you can get a working diversion for around £600 if you hunt about a bit tommy - thanks, i got a bit depressed with losing my job back in april so didn't feel much like doing anything, fortunately, i feel a bit happier now, there really was no pleasing that boss

re; Just certain touristy areas that have become a complete dump... Bude and Newquay seem rather like that, if it wasn't for the sea... the best bit was the coast roads, the beach views and 'seaside' atmosphere

RE: good 350 miles for me to even get there now yes, that's the trouble, quite a big round trip but that's why it stays reasonably unspoiled I suppose

My brother has found a terraced house built in 1995 for his daughter and her husband He wants me to give it the once over, although I have some qualifications in that area I suspect that any issues that the couple have with the place will be something I can't anticipate any advice please?, especially those of you who have bought a modern house as to what any potential pitfalls might be seems no sinificant alterations have been made and that it has a new boiler, the roof is just two slopes so no valley gutters - it's a mid terrace (what the neighbours are like isn't my concern)

Re: hi iv posted befor.... im just wundering will my bike pass its mot without the left hand sidepanel on it as im finding it hard to find one i would have thought so - unless the MOT has got a lot sharper recently, it's mostly about brakes and steering, condition of tyres, lights and indicators. there is a thing with cars that there is to be no bodywork of a ragged nature that would cause undue injury in the event of an accident bit don't think that applies to bikes the trick I find with MOT time is to present the examinor with a clean loved looking vehicle, I'm sure it helps
