  1. Hi all, I have a Yamaha XJ600 and recently found that the rear brake was sticking, I removed the caliper to check it and one of the pistons has seized solid. Any suggestions on how to remove it? I've tried heating the caliper, penetrating oil and air pressure but nothing sems to work. Also if the piston does defy my efforts to remove and replace it, will a rear caliper from another model fit my bike or does it have to be for an xj600 (I think FJ, FZ and YX600 models are the same but not sure). Cheers Norton
