  1. hi all, new to this site, recently purchased a 1988 rxs 100 after passing my cbt, it needed a few things doing but was told it was a runner, however, won't start off the kick. its got good spark and compression. tried to bump start but just made angry growling noises, took the spark out and it was dry as a bone, poured some petrol down the spark plug whole, refited the spark plug and tried to bump her again, this time fired up but then quickly died, tried the same again several times, came to the conclusion that it must have blocked jets in the carb. so stripped down the carb, checked all the jets and needles, all seem ok and in good condition. re-asembled the carb, set the bike back up, still no joy, get petrol coming out of the overflow but the float seemed ok and set at the right height, but no juice getting to the engine. it's now doing me head in and need some help, so near yet so far, any help would be greatfully received.....
