Me and Alan did feel a bit bilious after watching a trio of big fat "Rugged Individualist" Harley guys wobbling and lurching round the car park, while demonstrating the Harley lifestyle to busloads of OAP's. :roll: Certainly made me want to find the nearest Harley dealer......and firebomb the place. I would have thought Alan's would be quicker...60cc extra and fuel injection. Think it's about 2-3bhp more, but the Predator system on mine might have given mine a bit extra.

When I first saw the photos the first thing that struck me was the difference in ground clearance between the two. It's not a major issue cos they're both a bit big and heavy for offroad stuff anyway.

I wouldn't worry as much about car drivers as I would other Bikers. When you get a bigger bike you'll see what I mean. In fact I was speaking to a lifelong rider in his mid 50's the other day, and he told me that it's very rare he'll go out on his bike on Sundays now cos it's RaceTrack Wales...courtesy of Power Rangers. :roll: And if you think he's a bit of a wuss saying that....well I should tell you that he was a CCM Works rider in the 60's and 70's, so he really knows his stuff. Rides a TDM900 too.

Met up with XT Alan today in Mid Wales...2 XT's together at the same time! I was hoping the 2 bikes might breed and produce a Serow! Anyway...here they are...Alan's 04 XT660R is on the left, and my 03 XT600E is on the right. 8)

I was thrown off a GT750 Suzuki in 78 at 110mph....courtesy of a tankslapper. And you wonder why I'm so anti-Suzuki? :roll: Mind you I got up and walked away with just cuts and bruises! 8)

Go back over the instructions guys. It's definitely working cos I just tried it again. So it's something that you are doing wrong.

Suzuki's do serve a purpose though...they teach newer riders about oil burning and bad customer service.
