Yes you can buy it seperately...the genuine Yam one is about £200 though. I think you can get a pattern replcement from Motad for around £120 though.

Trust me Scott....don't ever consider coming here for a holiday! It's well fucked up!

You sure you're not getting it confused with that Pulsar? You know, the one that's so quick that it permanently distorts and disfigures your face with the G Force effect?

    Better on this though....

Is there a Barber in the house?

I think what we have to establish is who wants to attend, and their home locations. Then choose a central point accessible to everybody. Count me in...and I'm in Mid Wales.

Yeh it gets to me too Baz. Think the worst example was that guy who joined and started promoting his business here. Then it appeared he shortchanged one of the members.

I always find AdTrader the best option TBH...and it's free. Sold the DT yesterday, but that was due to an ad I put on another forum. The guy came all the way from Southampton to get it too, and took it home in his people carrrier!

OK then...let's have suggestions from the guys as to where and when.
  16. Very good review of the XT660X Supermotard version here: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_Page...leID=835&Page=1

So......is it going to happen? 8)

Yeh, front suspension on the Divvy's is very soft. As you say, thicker oil helps......but when you fit braided hoses then the increase in braking power starts bottoming the forks out again. Very poor front disc on the Divvy 6 I found. There's only a single on the XT, but it's actually pretty effective TBH.

You're scraping the barrel now Alan! You want a nice OAP's Diesel car like Da Mozzman you know! 8)

I heard your favourite record was "Mullet Kintyre".

Right....off to bed early...and don't forget to wash behind your ears!
  22. So easy to ride Alan...and for whatever reason, it just seems to suit my riding style. I'm just totally relaxed on it. Could do with more power cos that would help with overtaking, but apart from that I can't fault the thing.
  23. I'm always 2 up Alan....wifey goes everywhere with me! Handling? Pretty amazing with these Tourances TBH. I can go round bends 2 up quicker on this than anything I've ever ridden before. The strange thing is that it doesn't actually feel like I'm leaning much. Still got huge chicken strips on the tyres too. It seems like whatever corner you take, irrespective of speed, gear, positioning, camber, or road surface etc....it just goes round it like it's on rails. The aforementioned sportsbike heroes were right up my ass prior to a mile long stretch of narrow, tight, uneven twisties. I just pinned the throttle to the stop and went round them at a consistent 80mph with ease....just flicking it from side to side. By the time I got to a straight stretch my mirrors were clear....they'd all been left by an old bloke 2 up on a Thumper! That's when the twats all buzzed me on the straight veering in the path of oncoming cars.

Petrol shortage? Looks like there's going to be a lot of thirsty Hondas off the road then! 8)

I'm always right Alan....listen to me and your old man and you won't go far wrong! 8) So ditch the Mullet!
