I got to 'em both in the end!

I know there's no excuse for Suzuki ownership, BUT....
Change of plan again. The dealer found they'd made a serious cockup, and even though I could have insisted on the faired model as I've already paid, I wouldn't do it cos me and Dai Garland go back a long way. Any other dealer than Dai would have had to stand the loss. Anyway, it's the limited edition unfaired again, and tbh I don't mind that much cos 90% of my bikes have been unfaired, I like the colour scheme, and it fits in with "oldschool".

What do you wear?
I haven't a clue about brands except I know I have a Shoei Raid helmet. Two piece black leathers, 1 short black cordura jacket, and 1 longer blue/black cordura jacket. Winter and Summer gloves, and most of the time I'm in jeans. Three types of leather boot...1 long pair, 1 short pair, and a pair of AlpineStars trainer type boots.

That's what I'm thinking Scott...cos when you look at an XT600E from behind it does look lopsided due to the inflated sidepanel.

I'd like to see a shot from the other side to see how he's mounted the pannier....cos that side does stick out a fair way due to the silencer being mounted inside the panel.

Not initially, but after about 50 miles it does feel a bit numb TBH. You can get a Corbin for them but it's £200!

Help with an immature stunt.....lol
In the old days if we knew we were going down, we'd fall in such a way as to take the hit for the bike. True....and very few of todays riders would have hacked it in OldSchool! 8)

Yamaha Rule OK!
It's good to know that a company will support it's products like in Yamaha's case. Cos most of them won't!

Where are they all?
Which one Bazz? You'll need to be more specific. 8)

Good to see you posting again Ross. Try and post some more here, cos the rest of us are now being swamped by dorky kids dribbling on about tuning their fucking mopeds.

Wurth Dry Chain Lube!
Well I've lubed the XT with it...now I just have to wait for a sunny day to drop it off to the dealers 90 miles away...with the wife following in the car. Then reverse the process on the 1st September when I pick up the Bandit. So it'll be a while before I can evaluate it properly. But I can't get my head round the concept of the chain being dry. Looked at it today and it looks like it hasn't been lubed. Years of looking at runny chains I suppose!

Help with an immature stunt.....lol
That's not to say you won't come to grief on little dirtbikes while offroading of course. Some silly bastards do  but at least the bike will be virtually unscathed. Cos to us diehards that's the main concern! 8)

Help with an immature stunt.....lol
If you want to practice wheelies, get a cheap little dirtbike to do it on. Cos there is a good chance that something could go wrong!

Does Life REALLY begin at 40?
Happy Birthday Bazz! Never mind....it could be worse. You could be 50 and the only thing you've got to look forward to is riding a Suzuki!

Wurth Dry Chain Lube!
Never used the Silkolene Lube Alan....it was PJ1 Blue. So I'm still a Silkolene man....however £40 for 4 Iridium plugs is a bit offputting.
