    useing 9 digit vin to identify bike

    hungarian1977 posted a topic in New Members Welcome Area
    I have an older yamaha (think is 1984) with a 9 digit vin and i need to get parts and diagrams.....HELP!!!! how do i get this figured out? most sites ask for a 17 digit number. Am i missing something?
