Picked up a genuine yamaha rack and givi box for my fazer fz6 problem is the latch for the quick release on the plate is missing anyone no were id get a replacement ??

Did he put the right plug in ??? Also my friends 2006 ybr ran the same until he replaced the battery

Just noticed yesterday i had my bike up on the stand and running in netural and the rear wheel was turning slowly is dis normal ??

This mite sound like a silly question but when driving my bike everytime i change gear the bike jolts . Or jerks i can never seem to get a sooth gear change . Now ots not the bike as it always happens on other bikes to . Now am i releaseing it two fast or two slow and will it cause any damage to the bike . I just two ised to motorcrossing bad habbits etc .any advice would b great thanks

Also i have my 2002 fazer here nxt to it and handle bars are exactly the same so dont seem to b bent

My brother in law bought my old 2000 fazer from me . Today he came over and asked me to take it for a ride as it doesnt feel right . So i did and when ur driving straight the handle bars arnt straight there slightly turned to the left . He said he didnt drop it r anything and ive compared the handle bars size lenght etc with my 2002 fazer and they look ok . Does anyone no what else it could b ? What to check etc Thanks

It was f@$king freezen ... stoped at a toll bridge half way home and couldnt feel my hands to get change outa my pocket after a bit of a tail back started to fourm the nice lady just waved me tru ... but yea its a smooth ride

Just picked up a fazer fz6. Had to drive 2and a half hours the other side of the country to get it bit the 2hour spin home was well worth it After having the 2000 & 2002 fazer this is the 2004 model and i am well impressed of how it drives and handles Bring on the good weather !!

Not as good in what way is what id like to no 2wheels .

Ive a friend of a friend that has one for sale its the 2004 one fuel injected model i love the way the exhausts sit under the seat . I only got mu fox eye fazer and it has every extra goin would i b mad to change . Or after the wife thorws me out b homeless and keep both lol realy nice bike tho with low miles . But is there anyting to look out for when buying one

This mite sound stupid bit dismorning i went to take the fazer for a spin and checked the tyres and the rear tyre was very soft . So i put correct pressure in it and went and there was no slippin at all the bike drove really well No im guessin that the slipping i felt bfore when drivin the bike was the rear tyre soft and the back wheel spinning in side ??? I cant belive that .. .

Yes i screwed in the screw tight then loosened it a1/8 back then locked the nut and ajusted the freeplay at handle bar . I get up to 7-8 thousand revs bfore it happens . Today im gna disconnect the clutch cable and drive the bike if it happens agsin i guess its not the cable and time to open the clutch up to inspect plates springs etc

Oil drain bolt is on left bottom . Spark plug is easy to see and change and airbox and filter is on the right behind caseing .... takes near enuf 1liter of oil

Bfore i go changeing the clutch plates i think il try different oil ... can anyone recomend a different oil to use ?

The bike will drive normal if i bring up the revs slowly its only when i rev it a bit more it will over rev . But as i said its not happening now till i reach 6-7 thousand revs wen bfore i drained it was 3-4 thousand revs . Also just to ad there is a great bite on the clutch in 1st gear
