New Harley throttle housing to do away with the big bulky yammy one. Sadly as it was a hardly part I had to convert it from imperial to metric. Before After Next is into the other side and to get some new smaller switches to replace the standard ones along with the kill switch on the throttle side

Well tonight I've just spent an hour turning an imperial part into a metric part, but my god was it worth it! Will post pics of it tomorrow for you

Ive always loved sporty tanks and should have gotten this one sooner instead of the other monstrosity i got, and i don't have much welding to do on this one bar a few brackets to mount it to the frame. Got the bike back on the stand last night and started putting things on it to see how/if they fit and what the over all look will be like and MY GOD she looks completely different, so happy at the mo i just want to throw it all back together and ride it but that will not be good or cool so need to get a grip and crack on.

I Agree with obrien, when the knob head crashed through my fence and damaged my fuel tank i informed my insurance and all i got was a letter from them saying that they are on the case via the legal people i pay extra for, then two days later i get another letter saying the case is closed as the chap who crashed into me was footing the bill out his own pocket. no loss of no claims or nothing. Glad its getting fixed now mate

I've ridden with ear phones in and to be honest it doesn't make you any less vulnerable than you already are, but now (once back on the road) I just listen to nothing but the engine as music and all the other mod cons you get in cages these days are too distracting.

Thats crap twink! feel for you man, but id go through the insurance, its not as bad as is sounds some woman reversed into my cage and done some proper damage due to it being a modern car and built out of plastic and she accpeted liability so every time i had to get a new quote i had to say yes to that question but nothing happened to the price of my quote as it wasn't our fault. At least then you are getting things fixed through her money and not yours. Also agree with Tommy, if it was strong enough to snap the side stand then it may have twisted the frame where it bolts to, also have you taken off the fairing to see if any other damage is hiding behind it? Well just got the support from the wife as I showed her the toaster and she pissed her self and told me to get shot if it. Went to order the coffin tank and they are all sold out so thought screw it and just ordered a king sporty tank, fuel tap and cap for a sweet £120 should be here in time for me to tape it to the frame before I go on holiday next week. Well dt I stuck some bread in it on sunday night and I'm still waiting for it to pop so it's doubly shit ha ha
