I think there a very clever way of tarting up the bike without having to spend a shed load of cash on new looking spokes. I'd buy some.

Light on the throttle? So he's never ever red lined it? Never given it a thrashing? Why did he by an R1? If it's done that many miles and not given a blast once in a while I bet the valves and poisons are coked up. Ok it's a reference to a cage but I'm also a big jap car fan and in the owners Manuel of the Mazda RX7 it states that it must be red lined at least once a month to keep the engine from clogging up with carbon build up. I'm not promoting speeding or twatish riding (or driving) but if your going to buy a performance vehicle then they need a good thrashing now and then.

Yer the only hard part of using hand signals is that you could either punch the cages window next to you or the passenger if there window is down. And changing lanes at 70-80 mph on duel carriage ways is tricky but normally if I see a space and it's safe after a quick life saver I'll just dive right in.

Yes i was thinking of doing that but then would only have a day time MOT so if i was doing long miles i would have to stop at sun down. I use my hands for signals during the day but these indicators will be for night time use only. I got my 4" long baffles through the door yesterday and i put them in only to find that my new user name would have been Silent so they are now shelf orderments. Number plate bracket will be here next week as they had to order it in from the manufacture, the rear indicators are at home now but cant fit them till i get the bracket, and the front indicators will be here on Monday

Looks like a fun trip out mate! considering you say there is sand a salt every where the bike looks in show room condition still!
  8. Why don't we all just turn up with no tops on and kev can draw the design on us with a biro?
  9. We should all be MP's!!!
  10. Grey for me.
  11. In saying that I'm with Jimmy now I re seen the original t shirt. On looking at the 3rd blue one the bike on there looks a bit blob ish, can't can't really make it out as good as it is on the grey. Buy as I. Said I'm ready and well just go with what ever everyone else goes with.
  12. Id say take the hose off the Caliper like Dt502001 said and see if the lever moves. If it does then you know the caliper you bought is shagged. might have some crap clogged up in the holes within the caliper?

Christ its bad enough trying to get the DVL to send one new V5 but 11 of the things shit mate your gunna be waiting till 2020 to get all them through, or are those new owners slips momentos?
  17. Over haul the Master Cylinder to check that its not the piston thats jammed up (you may need a new Cer clip as it may snap on removal) should only take an hour to do if that.
  18. So you can't move the lever at all?? What happens when you squeeze the lever and un do the bleed nipple? does the lever go down or just stay solid? If it stays solid i would think that either the sring in side the master cylinder has snapped or the piston in side the cylinder has jammed. Other option could be a stick piston in the caliper.

Well the wallet is a bit lighter this morning, just ordered the number plate braket, indicators and some stumpy baffles to get more of a thud sound out of her. Think i went a bit over the top with the indicators tho, £120 just on indicators but they are sexy looking bits of kit. Hopeing that they will be here for the weekend and i can get them on and then she's pretty much ready

I have a video but the first minute it sounds crap as the Mic on my phone is as good as a deaf person in a rock gig. I'll get it on you tube and post it up and try and get a better one later on.
