Hey guys and gals, Do any of you know of a good company that will make me a custom clutch cable? Or know of a bit of kit that uses a roughly 2ft long clutch cable? Just that im now going to toy with the idea of doing my suicide shifter for the draggy. Cheers Noise

Not bad! but the only thing thats letting it down is those two big red things! Now save up and get rid of them!

Another quick tip tho, If you find that she is warm but still wont pull away then you need bigger main jets. It took me 5 times to get it right! thats 5 times taking the fuel tank off carbs out, Stripping carbs and rebuilding the lot. I started with a set of 90 main jets and am now running a set of 122.5 main jets with the pilots jets adjusted 6.5 turns (stock is 1.5 turns!) Once you have fitted new jets start her up and leave her to warm up and then take her for a spin but not too far. If when you crack open the throttle she splutters and dont pull away get her home and take out the spark plugs, if they are white then your running week and need bigger jets, if they are black and wet your too rich and need to down jet. Running week or rich for too long will melt / burn / fuck up pistons.

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, I work on a rig for a drilling contractor. I am required to pass a random urine test for drugs and alcohol, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a benefits cheque because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand that I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their arse drinking beer and smoking dope. Could you imagine how much money the government would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a benefit cheque? Please pass this along if you agree or simply delete it if you don't. Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to change in the UK , and soon!

Thats ok dude just that where this is kinda like a free forum we would like to know who you are before giving out any thing for free as it where. Right as for your question i have a set of these filters on my Dragstar (V star for you) and yes i had to put bigger main jets in the carbs, move the diaphragm needles up higher and advance the pilot jets a few more turns, I also had to fiddle with the tick over as well. You may find as well that where you are getting more fuel and air going in the engine you will have to wait till she is warm till you can pull away, my bike will not go unless she is warm. Its kinda good in a way as no fucker can nick her and try and ride off as she will pop fart and cut out thus waking me up Any probs give me a shout.

See the first time i quit i stopped for 3 or 4 months and really didnt miss it but then that day i had one its was as if id never stopped. im finding it hardest at work because when it got quite or there was little going on id have a quick smoke then off i went again or if i just needed 5 mins away from the desk / warehouse id nip out for one, but now...............................im finding my self just sat at the desk making circles with me thumbs or just walking round the warehouse looking at 20 year old stock lol.

Yer i think i prefer the Raider over the Stryker. But as you say if they are only in America then its gunna cost a bit to import one.

Right, i am now quitting smoking for the second time now last time i quit by cutting right down and deliberately leaving my baccy at home so i couldn't smoke at work and when i did have a smoke after work it would make me feel so ill i just stopped! (Yay me) But then after finding out another one of my mates i went through phase 1 training with got killing in Afgan i started again. Well i haven't had a smoke now since 1200hrs yesterday but im now craving them, i cant use patches as i have lady skin and they bring me out in blisters, the gum is shit and so are them little tablet things in the blue packet. So my question is........how can i curb these cravings!? i was a habbit smoker and like the social side of it, so ive broken the habbit but still go to the smoke hut for a chat and that. Cheers for the advise/ tips in advance
