Yer i fucking wish! na once i sell the bike and get what i'd like for it plus save a little i "should" have £4k for this project but will have to save like mad as i doubt i will get much for the draggy. Just not 100% sure whether i should build a bike from scratch or get another bike n do what ive done again, or just buy an already finished chopper/bobber thing

Right i have been thinking about getting shot of Betty and building a complete one off bobber thing by getting a crashed bike then getting a frame made and all that stuff, so i have found a guy up in Scotland who builds frames and i have found this site with loads of bikes: http://www.moto-brea...c/info.php?p=11 So what one do you guys think has the best engine to build this monster and also what do you guys know about the legal side of things of getting it on the road? as what im doing must come under say a "KIT CAR" type thingy? I basically wanna go for a low drag bike/street fighter/ angry bobber type monster, some thing like what the munsters or Frankenstein would ride. As always all comments welcome whether its to talk me out of selling Betty or other wise

Yer I know, I do like the bike just that ive got the bored factor at the mo n just want a bit more grunt out the old girl. Think im going to up grade the coils n cdi and up the revs see if that works.

Im liking this, BUT.......................those wing mirrors are shit. (to put it blunt) if your going for the street fighter look then id say you need new bars and mirrors plus a few more drastic changes. I built a shed out of wood and tarp to put my bike in when i took her apart and its still standing up now even all that strong wind and rain we had..........never moved or ripped or nothing. Go down B&Q they sell rolls of the stuff quite cheaply.

Id say do a complete strip down right down to the frame, get every thing off the bike and go from there giving it a 100% going over as with it being a "free" bike you have no idea whats lurking within it. plus you can then get shot of any rust etc.

Ha ha, yer i know what you mean i just needed some thing on there as i was getting mega fucked off either burning my leg of burning holes in my pants and this wrap was laying about the shed so went on. It wouldn't look too bad if the wrap was black. I'm still toying with the idea of selling her tho just need to sort out the fuel tank after some c**t pushed me whilst filling up with fuel and then proceeded to wipe the fuel and PAINT off my tank

Yer thats my first tank i got, sold the big one so got this one back out the loft but im thinking in a year or two i will up grade to a bigger one again lol and yer when he is big enough i will give him a mouse or two for a little treat lol. Um it will be a bit of a pricey trip to the fishy sniff6 if you wanted bob on your plate.............he cost me £75 and thats with out the chips lol

She hates the bike so at least thats one thing I will keep if the worst happens lok

lol cheers foamy well she is a good girl, been together now for 9 years n have a beautiful baby girl so though may as well tie the knot, but she's now got us a joint bank account so i think she is keeping control of the old bobber project But still it didn't stop me buying my new fish tho! got my self a new Burmese fire ice snakehead fish which i have to feed other fish and once fully grow he can eat mice
