  1. It was one of those spur of the moment things. No actually it was one of those punch your self in the face for being so stupid moments.
  2. Take out your spark plug, if its white then you are getting too much air and not enough fuel, this in time will course piston damage. If the plug is sooty blck then you are getting too much fuel and not enough air, again over time will course piston damage. When a engine bogs down under load (throttle) normally points to not enough air (but also not enogh fuel) hence the spark plug check. As you have changed the piston and have had to remove the barrels to do said task you have removed the carb from the barrel?? if your a good lad and done this have you tightened up the inlet rubber that clamps the carb to the barrel? if you haven't then you will be drawing in extra air through this gap and running weak. Make sure that the inlet rubber is done up tight. If that fails or you have done the rubber up tight then dose the bike rev when the choke is still on? if it does then we need to suss out if your choke adds more fuel or more air.
  3. Looks a bit too soft for my liking ha ha. Looks really nice a compfy mate, least it can help with your piles too
  4. Well done bippo! but you needed not ride all that way for an iron butt, should have just stopped at my address (PM sent for next time) and i would be more than happy to help All dirty-ness aside, how did you go about setting up this ride out as i too have been thinking about doing the same on the bobber, is it for a specific charity?
  5. Not even in a gimp mask? you can wear that ball on a strap that you put in my mouth last time as i didn't like it very much

  12. Shit Foams you just unleashed some serious Darren Brown shit there!!! So you couldn't tell by the fact that it says he dose Karate in his "Interests" bit under his name? Back on topic tho, if you ever have a blister then get a needle with some thread on it, push the needle throuoght the blister and then pull the thread through, the thread will soak up all the puss in the blister but leave the skin over the wound thus letting you get on with your life with out having a gurt blister getting in the way.
  13. Ok, no problem What was it we was supposted to forget?
  14. Im going to throw a spanner in the works here but trust me i think its truly the best thing. XV1600 wildstar! This is going to hopefully be my next bike (or a Harley) Now i know that your not a silly burbury brap brap rider so i'm pretty sure you'd stay safe on this bike hence im sticking it out there. You will be best to buy a second hand one and don't worry about the maintinace side of things as the best part of being a motorcyclist is the greasy hands after a good ride. The Wildstar will also pull a Harley Fat Bob out of a muddy ditch any day of the week, will start on the button in any weather and have enough grunt to turn up the best quality tarmac our Councils can aford to put down. And they are fucking sexier than a foamy in a tank top.
  15. Its camouflage mate. this bad boy pulls up next to you and you think "Pfft just a piece of shit harley, i can take it" next your bike cuts out and off they go with a smile on there face. Either that or the bloke is one of them strange types that you meet at most rural pubs that also wears dresses or stares at you from a dark corner with a smile thats only best suited in a horror film and thinks he has actually bought a Harley from a main dealer where in fact it was a Yamaha and Grouch was the mechanic
  16. Thank you for your donation Meatloaf, truely sorry for your loss too, i could think of nothing worse than to have someone that close taken away at such a young age. Thoughts are with you buddy

    Ape hangers

Ape hangers are good but remember if your hands are above your shoulders then the following will happe: Your shoulders will start to ache after about 5 miles at 50+ MPH or 5 mins of slow riding Steering at low speed will become a challenge Manual handeling will become a challenge Your speed will drop substantually in any sort of head wind as you become a bigger wind sail If you happen to do an emergancy stop you may find your body weight will push them forward in the risers If you use them to adjust your body possision (slide your ass forward) you may pull them back You should be fine with the stock 1" risers but if not dont go any higher than 3" risers as your bars will then be 19-20" high. As for the cables if you cant get any custom made then you can do it your self just need more wire from Halfords, soldering iron and solder, heat shrink and some time, i forgotten the company that do custom brake and clutch lines but there are some about just google them.
  18. The 125 draggy has no fuel gauge as said above. I personally like the whole open the fuel cap and eye ball whats in side job. there is no resurve tank on the bike just one big tank and the fuel tape with the on/off/res switch has two tubes inside, one long one which is the main fuel (on switch) and one short tube which is the res switch. When the fuel goes below the main fuel line it starts to loose power, cough, splutter and makes you look like a complete twat trying to ride one handed and switch to res before she dies on you. IIRC i used to get about 100 miles before having to go on res.

    miss me?

Hey folks, Not been on for a while been busy doing non bike related stuff and on holiday etc. My biggest thing tho was getting my tattoo started which is going to be a full sleeve which is going to be a story of my journey through the Army. Basically as we all know we are forever fighting our demons, my demon is back pain thus this demon is holding a spine. Next im having two soldiers fighting there demons along with a battle cross in memory of my friends who lost there battle. After that i will be having a flying demon dragging a tank through the sky to represent my dream job being ripped from my life. And the last thing im having done is the Angel Gabriel at the top.of my arm to represent my little girl Nikkita which after all the crap and hardship there is always light and true happiness will top all evil
  21. If you still have dramas after you clean it all i have my old switch gear if you want it?
  22. Come on gizzy dont be bladdy stoooopid haha
  23. Little bit of work done to her last night, most of the head bolts came out ok but one of them was so seized that it actually wound out the long bolt that the barrles and head slide onot (dont know its real name) and the clynder head took some persation to come off. Once i got the cam cover off i instantly smelt burnt oil so its obviously has a problem some where so im hoping that its not going to be the big end etc. Cam cover off, looks ok to be fair Cams out, Cylinder head off, pistons look bit...........used The barrels feel nice and smooth tho so so far lokos as tho the piston rings didn't snap and scratch them Box of bits to be cleaned and bolts to be replaced Going to try and get the barrels off tonight and have a look at the pistons, rings and big ends to see whats got to be replaced etc
  24. Only time mine dose this is if i short shift and the gears dont go in properly, make sure your not being too girly when lifting the gear lever.
