Hey Guys Basically i have been wanting to do some thing for the Poppy appeal for some time so thought that i would walk from Yeovil to Templecombe in combat boots, trousers and carry 15kgs in a patrol sack + high viz vest. I would carry more but after injuring my back whilst in phase 1 i think id crumble within the first mile but the way i see it as our lads and lasses are serving in horrid conditions and are most likely in both physical and mental pain each passing day i think this is little in comparison. This will be happening just before remembrance day and will be on a Sunday due to traffic as parts of this route is with out path ways so this is what im asking if poss? would any of you guys either like to join me in the walk or provide a motorcycle escort? seeing that we are a motorcycle club and that these fantastic vehicles don't take up that much of the road at least if the Cage drivers feel that its safe to over take they can take that opportunity. I have posted this on the RBL riders forum so i will keep both you and them posted so that there isn't just me walking/running and 100 bikes escorting me or 30 people running / walking and one bike escorting lol. There will be a little bit of work needed to get them to fit but where there is a will there is a way and with the weather acting like a complete twat then i have some time on my hands to get it done as there has been no riding at all for the past 2 weeks! Here we are with some new shiny things added to the bike and i tell ye what for £20 it aint a bad little mod! The power gain (well actually pulling power gain) is fantastic! Ive had to Re-jet the bike again for the 5th bastard time but ive now got that off to a T and had the Carbs out dismantled rebuilt and back on the bike with fuel tank and that on within an Hour, Go Me! Hi And welcome! Majority of 125's will do 70mph. My XVS 125 dragstar was more than happy sitting at 65-70 on flat roads but dropped down to say around 60 up hills and even less on steep hills and strong head winds. The YBR being a "sporty" 125 should be more than happy doing 70 in the right conditions but your mostly be doing 65 ish and prob working the gear box to maintain 65+ if the road/weather conditions change.

Well i have just ordered a set of cone air filters for the old girl to get shot of the one that hanging out on the side of the engine which is hopefully going to give her a cleaner look only cost me £35 Im still humming and R-ing about a Jockey shift tho.........?? Has any one going one on their bike i can test ride first lol Ive finally got something i can spray my fuel tank with again so if this shitty weather keeps up im taking it off and re-doing it but i have finally pried that Harley softail tank off of my dad so im gonna have a look at getting that onto the bike some how and see what it will look like. Hey Rocky, Cheers for the advice, which is always greatly received! i think she is starting to come out of her shell a wee bit more now but i think too is her past as every time i go to put her harness on she cowers down and lies on the floor instead of the normal "O my god im going for another walk WOO HOO!!!" behavior from a dog which is a bit up setting to see really so im giving her loads of loving and praise each and every time i take her out (which is twice a day) great for her but at 04:45am is a bit of a roll out of your pit type thing for me but hay its quite nice being one of the first people up and not have any one or noise around so you can just enjoy the walk. Any hoo thanks again for every thing and i will try and get some pics of her up soon.
