i have a XV125 virago i am breaking where would be the best place to advertise? i also have a suzuki GN125 but have no idea where to advertise

problem sorted not there is fuel coming out of what looks like an overflow pipe on the carb i dont understand carbs atall so has anyone got any pointers?

cheers guys picking up a new battery today and shall let you all know how it goes

ive tried charging the battery and connected it back up it clicks still and doesnt start ill try borrowing a battery to make sure it is that as funds are limited at the moment ive also changed the starter relay this tip was given to me by my local bike shop it just seems to have made the problem worse so ill see what happens from there thanks for the advice

i had mine off ebay it was a perfect fit and got here in 3 days the estimated postage was 3 weeks its alot easier than it seems

i recently am having problems starting my bike sometimes its fine and starts no problem at other times the battery dies with no key in the ignition there is a clicking sound when i press the start button sounds like a loose connection but i cant work out where i have replaced the starter relay and charged the battery and i am currently replacing the choke cable but the problems were before this any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you

i am looking for the downpipe for my exhaust as mine has turned to rust i have asked my local bike dealer and they say they dont know where to souce it from im stuck any ideas?

for the intake manifold i recommend ebay they charge £100 at a dealer but you can pick one up for £15 on ebay and they work just aswell infact as we are on the subject i am looking for a downpipe for the rear cylinder that is a main place for rust i didnt quite catch it in time and my exhaust has now crumbled past the point of no return but according to my dealer they dont sell that part seperately just out of interest where is the OP from?

this bike is religiously cleaned everytime after use so no crap in there mate have recently changed the inlet manifold would that change anything?

tried the carb screw it seems to feel like the throttle is sticky but the cable is moving freely

when i accelerate from gear 1 - 2 it seems to misfire before i go anywhere does anyone know any way of solving this or what has gone wrong? thank you in advance

it depends on the dealer if its not specified in the original negotiations then no it wont be

i have a virago 125 with a straight piece of pipe and its actually made mine faster so i would say no major downsides but dont quote me as im on a cruiser

try tightening the chain (1 inch play) check your oil try and tighten your clutch a bit should help i had the same problem on my virago

service will be roughly £100ish where abouts in uk are you? as i know a few places cheap around leicester try to take it to a place that isnt a main dealer they will do a better job and probably cheaper

i am looking for a twin engine to go into a suzuki intruder 125 or pistons, piston pots timing chain and the engine bearing please let me know as i am getting sick of this now

just saw a bike vs honda civic biker doing roughly the speed limit (30) and civic pulls out of a junction and T bones the bike bike goes over the bonnet and lands on the biker sent him off to hospital in an ambulance beware of women in burkhas driving they obviously cant see properly hence this happened

i recommend not bothering with the bent valves as they dont work very well left me stranded with no air most bike dealers will beable to get hold of a tube or a valve that is bent in the factory

leave it open slightly like on the 1st click and it should help alot dont try any of the other tricks people say like the spray or whatever it just doesnt work just general household polish every now and again

generally any dealer will beable to get hold of one doesnt really matter which its for most are universal should only cost you about £5
