Cool seen some i like, they are fog lights. Do they need to be fitted via a separate switch or can I splice into the dip beam cable. They light are to supplement the dip beam not the main beam. Cheers

Hi, Does anybody know of a good place to get additional headlight(s) for my xj600s. The beam isn't great on dipped, so was thinking of maybe an additional light, perhaps just need an upgraded bulb. Just a quick look in Halfords for example and i find Ring do these for cars, but they tend to be called driving lights which am i wrong in thinking are main beam not dipped? Cheers

Hi, I have recently aquired a 2000 xj600s diversion which does not have any illumination to the dash area for the speedo and tacho. All other bulbs are working ie, headlight, indicators etc. What type of bulb do i need, how many, and are they easy to replace. Is it likely its a bulb or a fuse which may be the cause? Many Thanks Marc

I had this problem, but managed to get the screw out without wrecking the head. The screw shaft and thread turned out to be corroded. I used a small wire brush to clean it up, put a dab of copper grease on the thread and wound it back in. It goes in and out a treat now.

Hello, I have L plates front and back. I have seen many bikes with only L plates on the rear of the bike. What does Mr Plod think about this, is it legal? or can i remove my front L plate? It'll look much nicer with it off. Thanks

Hi, This may sound dumb but being new to biking can someone explain what is meant by adjusting the freeplay in the cable to brake/clutch and throttle. I have read in the manual how to do it, but an not sure what exactly i am feeling for? Is it the slack in the feel of the cables before anything happens? I hope i am explaining myself properly. Hi, Standard headight bulb is the BA20d 35w/35w luminescence. Could i fit a 45/40w halogen BA20d bulb with no adverse effects on battery drain, or wiring? Thanks
