I have just joined this site a couple of minutes ago and read you message. I don't know if this helps but if you go to the Mikuni website it has alot of information about carb tuning see: http://www.mikuni.com/pdf/vmmanual.pdf Also if you look at the "spark-plugs" website at: http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/diagnosis.htm this may help. I am no expert on carbs and plugs, but have a problem with my DT 175 and have ben looking at these sites, in particular the Mikuni carb site as it is specific to tuning. Hope this of use. Tom.
