  1. i played around with the power valve 2day no difference i have never rebuild a dt b4 though i did the old trick put a long screwdriver to my ear and different parts of the engine its defo the top end, i think its the Small End Bearing i never changed it then i did the top end rebuild I KNOW SILLY ME that or the piston has gone where the power valve has hit it ill have a look 2morz as i never got around to it 2day ended up painting the frame

  6. when i start my bike it makes a rattling noise once it has warmed up you can only hear it faintly but i cant tell if its top end or bottom end any way of telling with out striping it down ???

  10. hi i got a dt 125 r as a project all going well top end rebuilt runs well apart from now its started leaking fuel out the over flows on the carb i striped it down and it seems all ok can any1 help please
  11. hi i got a dt 125 r as a project and i just rebuilt the top end i went for a spin today but the powerband kicks in way to high how can i lower it ?????

    hay dude i received my Athena gasket it did not have a rubber coating but it was pressed out around the bore and the outer edge of the gasket not completely flat like cheap pattern gaskets but on the safe side i did put some sealant on

    its only a 28mm carb, a rs 125 has a 34mm and a ktm 125 has a 38mm carb it would make a big difference but depends on if it will fit the inlet
