Having been of 2 wheels for 15 years and driving a car i decided it is time to return to 2 wheels, I bought a 2001 650 Dragstar from a Bike shop 30 miles from my home and having sorted the insurance out went to collect it....Then it became windy in Brandon CO Durham so for the next 29 miles i was re learning how to ride, Having lost 3 stone on the way home i arrived back then had a nice cup of coffee then i noticed the aches due to not being in the saddle for so long. Nice bike glad i bought it but the silver 2 peice heat shield fell off can i buy them ?. New to the forum but The Dragstar is the best bike for comfort and that Thumping sound from the engine.

Hello.....First post to this forum I have YamahaaDrag starar classic so makes sense to be part of a club as i have a few questions..like how do i buy a heashieldld that fell off ( the bit that has 2 parts to it that links top to bottom...or did you find one on the road..LOL Anyway i hope this will be a good resorce and take care all.
