  1. Thanks very much, that did the trick!!
  2. Hi. I recently picked this bike up really cheap and for a week it has been beautiful!! It passed its MOT with flying colours etc.. The day before yesterday the bike would not start so I went to work and when I returned it started fine. But I took it for a service. I fully intend to learn the maintenance side but needed to get it sorted asap for work.. Big excuse there I know.... Anyway, the carb was cleaned, oil changed etc. Upshot is the bike ran perfectly. Yesterday, it wouldn't start again. I took the battery out and fully charged it yesterday but nothing! The starter is whirring but no kick in from the engine.. Has anyone any ideas? I really don't want to pay someone for fixing an easy problem.. Thanks guys
  3. Thanks for the replies guys… I have driven cars for over twenty years but the feeling of freedom riding is amazing!! Getting used to the clutch now too. No stalls as of yet
  4. Hi, I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Daniel, username Denial. I have just got my first bike, a 1992 SR125 custom, and I am loving it. I am 39 and I think this is the start of my mid-life crisis!! I know nothing about bike maintenance but am willing to learn as much as possible. If anybody has/had a SR125 and has tips and helpful stuff then please feel free to post. Thanks guys, talk soon..
