Thanks for the replies. I didnt think there was much chance of it coming out half decent. That texture finish should be banned on all bikes and cars! Might look at the Rizoma mirrors. I see there are some copies on the net from china. Theres a good chance that they come from the factory Rizoma use I reckon. £50 doesnt sound too bad. Adam_Fozz

Hi All, I lost balance on my xj6 the other day (whist standing still...doh!). its ok, the crash protectors saved the day but the mirror did get scratched a little. Has anyone ever tried running a mirror down to try and remove the scratch. Its that textured matt black material. Your thoughts would be excellent. Adam_Fozz

In the end I purchased one with after market indicators. For some strange reason the hazard lights only work with the engine on now...very strange. I tried the old indicators on again and the hazards worked without a hitch with both engine on and off. Anyone else had this issue? Adam_Fozz

A fozzy bear reference this early in proceeding! Respect! Thnank guys. Already started my personalisation process. Added a tail tidy. Bought an Rsend one from Tweeks. Its good but doesnt allow you to keep the original indicators which I didnt like. Should have been a 20 min job to put it on but unfortuantly Motrax were a bit stingy with the wiring from the flashers and the plate light! Had to bust out the wire stripper and add some spade connectors on to get some extra length. Looks nice though. Also ordered some body coloured side fairings for the rear. I like the gunmetal colour but want some yellow on the back of the machine. Next up: hugger, levers, mini numberplate and possibly a rad cover. Does anyone else have a rad cover? Wondering if the yamaha one will help keep the annying insects out of the rad as I dont think its going to be as easy job cleaning it out...Any advise? Adam_Fozz

Hey Everyone, Im new to this forum. Have just purchased a 59 plate XJ6N. Picked it up today actually. Really nice ride home and then I went out on a nice route with a friend who has a bandit. Currently thinking about upgrading the tail side fairings (to body coloured (yellow in my case)), fitting a tail tidy, some nice levers and maybe handlebars. Really happy with the bike. Much faster and more comfortable than my MT-03. I live in the Chester area of England, UK. Adam_Fozz

Hi There, As requested I have now added a newbie thread in the correct section! Anyway, I have my Xj6 now! YES!!! I wanted to get to work on the tail tidy tonight but have found that I cannot remove the indicators. Has anybody else done this? I expected them to just be bolted on but they dont seem to be...not even sure if they will actually go on the new tail tidy since it has just one hole drilled. Any help would be great? Adam
