    top and diaphragm bottom slide and diaphragm side view the magic stuff the spec the finished product Note: if you try this youself make sure you line the diaphragm and the bottom up in the carbs this is so the little pin on the ouside is in the right place.

    Hello all I have an Yamaha R6 model year 2000 with down draft carbs. I have a flat spot on full throttle at 6-8000 rpm. when cleaning the carbs I noticed one of the diaphragm assembley's was split in three parts. see picture below The part is sold as one piece see diagram below part number 8 I pushed the part back together and refitted it but the fault is still there. Assuming this is what is causing the fault can this part be repaired? a new diaphragm will cost £125 so i'm hopeful I won't need to buy a new one Alan
