Hello i have just bought a 2008 R1 in blue with gold alloys. Got what i think is a good deal. 4580 on the clock, with Akra sp series, i think its an official yam double bubble screen, tail tidy, rear light with built in indicators and brand new corsa III for £6500. Im coming from a ZX6R 2007 model and have tried two different R1's a 2007 which felt jerky and unresponsive, and the 2008 that i have bought which was smooth and fun to ride. Is anyone going to the thundersprint

Hello, My name is Phil and im currently looking at a 08 plate R1 in Graphite. Im going to take one out in the next few weeks. I currently own a Kawasaki ZX6R 2007 model. What are peoples opinions when it come to pillion's on the R1. At the moment the wife can only last half an hour on the ninja due to the brick of a back seat. She only comes on the back occasionally but is quite important she is a little comfortable. Thanks in advance Phil
