Hey everyone! I am needing to buy a R/H rear seat panel for my yzf r125 and have been quoted 115 pound through a dealer, I have spotted one on ebay for 60 quid that is exactly what I need, except it is a 2010 make and has no stickers. Any advice on whether it will fit my bike? I am not too concerned over the colour coding at the moment as I may get a re-spray for the bike once restoration is done.

Thanks pal. I was amazed I walked away from it to be honest as I went some distance and got some air time! I was really gutted to start with, but thanks to ebay, I hopefully will get the bike back to some form of normality soon.

That is very true! I was amazed I walked away with only a bruise on the hip! I have had a look at wemoto but will check out fowlers. I got a few bits on ebay, I am dead lucky that the bike has more cosmetic than anything else. Thanks

So here is the scene. Riding at 3am on a Thursday morning, clear road, good conditions and good lighting. Hardly anyone on the road. Fuelled up, necked a red bull and was feeling awake and alert. So riding in a 30 mph zone, through a small village, rounded a bend and OH HELLO CAR, YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!, so much so he even was head on with me as I was as far left as I could go!!! Anyways, strangely I did not panic, swerved and avoided a head on, now the problem, not enough braking time, a kerb and wall in my path, noooooooooooooooo, I had to bin the bike!! Over the handle bars I go landing 5 feet away, and manage to watch my bike to a 360 flip and land side on the road. I look and see the car has stopped, then aaaw no it just was checking if I moved. He gunned it and failed to stop the git! No registration got either. Now I have to repair the bike out of my own money! But hey gives me a valid excuse to mod the bike! But the money will be sorely missed, As a friend said i should of thrown the bike into the car, at least he would of stopped!

Hey guys, A bit of help if you can. I had a crash on Thursday, riding to work at 3 in the morning along a narrow two lane road when I rounded a bend at 30 mph and met a car coming head on in to me. It was so far over I just about avoided it but had to bin the bike or hit a wall. Luckily the damage is cosmetic, sadly the driver failed to stop, no cctv etc so no hope of catching him. So I have to pay out of my own pocket. I have just bought a tail tidy and rear tail fin that I need, and it looks like I will have to bite the bullet and buy from a dealer the right side rear tail which is about 150 quid, but should get it lower. I need to get a rear seat or cover, underbelly left side and some other bits. The exhaust cap has been broken off so I got a quote of 75 quid from a dealers and have seen on ebay a carbon fibre one for about 50 quid. How does that work? Anyways, if anyone has any ideas of good spares people on the web and dealers in the Surrey or London area that would be great. Also if I wanted to replace the whole exhaust for something neater like a scorpion etc what makes are best and where could I get a cheap deal? Cheers, a gutted biker!
