  1. I just bought a 1983 virago xv500 and there is a wire that goes to the clutch lever on the handle bars that is broken off. What is the purpose/function of this electrical connection? Its a single wire that goes into a hole right behind the clutch lever. The bike runs fine and I dont see any funtion that this could be impeding.
  2. Ive got a 1976 TY250 and the throttle cable has snapped at the twist throttle and at the oil injector. I havent been able to find an exact replacement but i was told that it is possible to bypass the oiler and just run straight to the carb. But i was also told that this would starve the main bearings of oil as just a premix fuel will not deliver enough oil to it. Suggestions?
