  1. Thanks for the info Graham, I have business links with the US, so sourcing/shipping might not be so much of a challenge. If I get round to doing this, I will post my experience on the forum. Thanks again. Tony

I wish to change the standard exhaust for a pair of pipes that make the XVS1300 sound off loud. The helpfull guys at Custom Wizard (Sheffield, stockists of H&H) could not say if my ECU would need remapping ( a gizmo called a Power Commander .....bl***dy expensive and MAY be needed). So any one out there tried these pipes....without screwing up the performace of the bike? by the by, this model is fuel injected. Appreciate your input. Regards Tony

Evening all Am looking to help a buddy in Ireland(south) looking to get back on a bike after forty years without one! Restrictions include max power at 33 BHP and knackered knee and hip joints. The combination of these factores points solidly towards a cruiser style of bike I feel.I am told that even after passing their m/c test, you stay on L plates for two years with the BHP restriction as well. He needs a bike, two cylinders min, legaly restricted if required, that will keep his riding interest up even when more experienced, so a 20HP Suzy Maurader would probably not appeal. So learned friends, what make and model do you think I could suggest to him? From a price perspective, thinking of something 4 or 5 years old. Appreciate your input Regards Tony

Hi good people Just signing in as a newby. After having both knees replaced in total,I can no longer bend them enough to handle the BMW1200GT safely or in comfort. Just purchased a new XVS1300, only driven a few miles so far but feels right, comfortable and safe. Just a bit miffed at the lack of noise at the rear end though......any tips to increase the decibals without killing the warrenty would be gratefully received. Regards Tony
