I think the clock are the same diameter just the rev range on the tacho maybe different.
  5. If CR8E are the normal ones I would say yes but they would be more pricey. The IX means Iridium.

    great parts

Are there any Nipples on sale.
  10. Premix works great if the motor is running high up the rev range but it tends to foul the plugs at low revs as too much oil is being used, so use a pump if its a road bike.
  11. Hopefully, I was amazed there was people willing to bring out there pride & joy this early in the season. The chap on the GT came from Northampton thats commitment.

Bridgestone M/C were made from 1952 - 1973. Yamaha 1955 Honda first real motorcycle 1949 Kawasaki produces its first complete motorcycle the B8 125cc two-stroke in 1961. (Apart from the BSA A7 copy 1960). Suzuki began manufacturing motorcycles in 1952. So the oldest Jap bike is Honda's Dream.
  14. Ta. I see you are only in Derby could be nice ride out for you.
  15. Thats right I used it on my brake housing as well and its not effectived by brake fluid.
  16. I've never used primer and its stayed on.
  17. Here are few snaps of the 1st meet. and not a drop of rain in sight. The next meet will be in April the 1st & 3rd Wednesday @ 6pm.
  18. Use Plasticote BBQ paint but, to make it stay on I bake the parts in the oven, it does make fuel resistant though.
  19. I wouldn't worry about the fairing I think it was at high speed anyway. I think it look cool.
  20. The bike pictured looks the same as the first UK XJ900 with was an 853cc. They stopped making them as the handle bar fairing made them unstable so Yamaha made the next model with a fairing mounted on the frame which cured the wobble. It should have YICS cast into the carb inlets and a special tool is needed just to balance them correctly.
  21. +1 By far the best XS650 roadster. The B 500 never really caught on, the TX looked better in my book. Then the later XS range lost focus and started making average bikes then made the 1100 powerhouse but it suffered from Kawasaki syndrome (poor handling)..
  22. Never, it wont be raining its Solihull you know not Manchester.
  23. Tip: Before you start bleeding put some PTFE tape around the nipple thread as it will stop any air getting into the caliper while bleeding.
